A professional violinist, Natasha Turovsky discovered visual arts almost twenty years ago. She decided to pursue professionally her passion by enrolling in the Fine Arts program at Concordia University in Montreal in 1992, where she specialized in painting and printmaking.
Even with her busy schedule as a musician, she is an extremely prolific artist.
She has produced hundreds of paintings and monotypes, along with several opera sets and series of paintings made after such musical cycles as Song of the Earth by Mahler and Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky.
Natasha’s first solo exhibition was in Montreal in 1995.
To date, she has had more than forty solo and group exhibitions in Barcelona, Cleveland, Boston, New York, Hong-Kong, etc. Her works are in many private and corporate collections in the United States, Canada, England, Spain, France, Russia, China and Iran.
